How soon should I place my wedding cake order?
To ensure availability and avoid surcharges, we strongly recommend scheduling your wedding cake with us at least one month in advance so it can be made to your specifications.

I have a special design in mind and have a picture of how I want my wedding cake to look. Will the Pastry Chef make it?
Your cake should be an expression of your individuality and vision. With your imagination and our skills, the possibilities are endless!

What is rolled fondant?
Fondant icing is porcelain smooth, malleable sugar dough made from sugar, water and corn syrup. It has a pure white matte finish and can be tinted to match any color theme. It is a recommended icing for warm weather and outdoor weddings.

Do your provide flowers or other decorations?
Amphora can provide sugar, fondant, butter cream or silk flowers. Fresh flowers must be provided by your florist. Amphora does offer wedding columns and other decorations that can adorn your wedding cake for an additional charge.

Can I have fresh flowers on my cake?
Yes, however your florist must provide the flowers and place them on your cake.

What time should the wedding cake be delivered?
We recommend that your cake be delivered at least one hour prior to start of your reception. This may vary depending on the weather, whether your cake is inside or outside, in the sun, etc. We will do our best to accommodate your florist.
